Addictive Appetizers: Sausage Cheese Balls

Crispy on the outside, tender and cheesy on the inside — these sausage cheese balls are the ultimate bite-sized snack. Perfect for parties, game days, or anytime cravings hit!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) uncooked pork sausage

  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 1 ½ cups baking mix (like Bisquick)

  • Optional: ¼ tsp garlic powder or onion powder for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until fully combined. You can use your hands — it’s messy, but effective.

  3. Roll into balls about 1 inch in diameter and place on the baking sheet, spaced slightly apart.

  4. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. Serve warm with dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, or spicy aioli.

Tips:

  • Use spicy sausage for a kick.

  • You can prep and freeze them raw — just bake a few minutes longer when ready to serve.
